A loan of $1,025 helped to buy chicken manure and cattle.

Antonio's story

Antonio is 51 years old and is married. He was able to study as far as primary education. He lives in his own rustic adobe house in the community of Tiraque. He is responsible for 4 economic dependents, who are his children.

Antonio makes a living from agricultural production, which he says gives him average annual sales of the following quantities of products: potatoes (120 loads), green beans (40 loads), wheat (grain, 10 loads) and barley (grain, 7 loads). He sows these crops on his own land, an area of 3 hectares which he inherited from his parents. The land is situated in the same community and has irrigation.

With this loan he is applying for, Antonio will buy chicken manure and cattle and so with his future production he will improve his economic situation and consequently also improve the quality of life of his dependents.
