A loan of $1,450 helped to purchase potato seeds and organic fertilizer.

Renato's story

Renato lives in the community of Cabra Cancha. He has three dependent children. Renato works in agriculture on some small plots of land that his parents left him.

In the previous harvest, there was a natural disaster from frost, and his crop yield was decreased. This catastrophe made a failure of his economic income that he maintains with his agricultural production.

Renato is a person who is loved and respected in the place where he lives, as he is dedicated to his small children and his work. This is despite the facts that he suffers from an illness and that he sometimes has to work as an agricultural laborer in other areas to earn a few pesos and in this way support his entire family.

His young children attend a school four kilometers from their home. He is requesting the loan in order to purchase potato seeds and organic fertilizer. In this way, he will improve the quality and yield of his crops.

He works on a small piece of land that he has on the place where he lives in order to improve his economic income and give a better quality of life to his children, so they will be able to attend school under better conditions. The loan will help his entire family a great deal.
