Fifonsi I Group's story

The Fifonsi I group is made up of eight people who live in the same village. This is the third time that the group has requested financing from ALIDé in order to raise the level of their business.

The representative of the group, named Elise, has her hand raised in the photo. Elise received very little schooling. She is 43 years old and married to a receptionist named Cyriaque. The couple has four children, all of whom attend school and are in their care. Elise lives with her children. The various needs of the household are taken care of by the couple.

In order to provide for their needs, Elise has been selling wheat pastries and dry goods in her region for the last fifteen years. In order to bolster her business and with the goal of meeting the needs of her growing customer base, Elise is requesting a third loan from ALIDé together with the members of Fifonsi I. This credit will allow them to raise the level of their businesses and to make more profit. Their first two loans were fully repaid.
