A loan of $1,500 helped to buy cattle feed.

Lissy Escarlen's story

Lissy, 20, has lived with her spouse for a year. She works as a raw milk producer and cheese maker. She has four years’ experience. To do said activity she owns six cows three of which are producing and three of which are either pregnant or in the nonlactating period. Her husband helps her with the milking and feeding chores. They are both very responsible and with strong drives for self-improvement. Also, her spouse works as a mechanic six days a week.

The reason for the current loan is that Lissy had some unexpected expenses and some complications with her pregnancy so she’s had to seek economic help to buy supplies for her cattle (soy husks and forage) because feed becomes scarce during this season and forage production is very small.
