He performs all his duties regarding selling his milk very well. He gets up early in the morning for getting milk from buffaloes so that he can carry it to the urban area. He uses part of the unsold milk for making yogurt, butter, and cheese and for his family's usage.
Getting milk and then selling it into the market is not an easy work for a single person, but Arif does a lot of hard work for the sake of his family. He recently recruited two assistants, who help him in the completion of his daily tasks.
Inflation is increasing day by day, and his family's needs are, too. His children are growing older and now are going to a higher school. To cope with the inflation, to pay the salary of his assistants, and to meet the increments in his family's expenses, Arif wants to grow his business. So he decided to buy another buffalo so he can increase the milk production and supply. He loves his family and wants to provide them comfort at any cost.
Therefore, Arif has requested a loan from Kiva’s field partner, BRAC Pakistan, so he can buy a buffalo and get more milk to sell.
Arif hopes that this loan will bring positive changes in the lives of his beloved family members. Although he is doing hard and a little bit dirty work, he feels proud of his efforts for his family.
