Mary's story

Mary has a beauty shop in Nairobi town in which she sells beauty products and cosmetics. She is 43 years old and widowed. She has four children. She has been in this business for 18 years. She also operates a mobile money transfer business.

This being her fourth loan term from KADET, Mary plans to use the amount to buy more stocks of beauty and salon products for selling. These include hair weaves, wigs, body lotions, and hair oil. She also plans to add some money float to her mobile money transfer business.

Mary plans to use the anticipated income to pay school fees for her children. In future she hopes to give a good education to her children.
