Usman's story

Mr. Usman is 29 years old, and is a married man. He lives with his family in Punjab, Pakistan. Since 2001, he has been running a shoe shop, which is the only source of income for his family. He purchases a variety of shoes, and sells them in the market. He is offering all types of shoes and for all age groups. He has ladies, gents and children's varieties. Currently, he needs to purchase a new variety of shoes for children. However due to financial constrains, he finds it difficult. Because of this his customers are decreasing day-by-day. So he has requested a loan from Kiva's partner BRAC Pakistan. With the help of loan amount he will purchase a variety of children's shoes to sell. This will not only help him to grow his business, but will increase his net income and savings as well. He wants to provide a quality education for his children. He is very much thankful to Kiva and BRAC Pakistan.
