Teta's story

Teta is 24 years old, married, and lives in Airport in Margibi county which has the largest rubber-producing plantation in Liberia. Her two children, who attend school, live at home and her husband is a contractor.

For the past 4 years she has been involved in business and currently she sells milk, bread, soft drinks, etc. She says she always uses a taxi to transport her goods to her business. She likes how her customers can buy from her, and she is proud of how supportive she is to her family. She learned this way of selling from her mother. She sells for 10 hours per day from Monday to Saturday. She is requesting a loan to purchase more milk, bread, soft drinks, etc. for her business.

Her plan is to build her house. She is glad to become a borrower through BRAC Liberia.
