Musu's story

Musu lives in Airport of Margibi County, which has the largest rubber plantation in Liberia. For the past ten years she has been selling used clothing in the market. She started this business by selling slippers for her mother, and learned this way of selling from her mother. She is 37 years old, and she and her fiancée are living together along with five children between the ages of 8 and 15, all of whom are in school and live at home. She is requesting a loan to buy more slippers for her business. She completed 5th grade before joining the business. She likes selling to her customers and her business makes her responsible.
