A loan of $1,400 helped to buy sodas and energy drinks.

Rosa's story

Rosa, 40, is married and lives with her 10-year-old son in her own house. Rosa has a business selling energy drinks and sodas. She has a refrigerator and a freezer that she stocks daily, starting very early so that it is at an ideal freezing point when the customers start to arrive. She sells directly to adults. She generally works this job in the afternoons. In the mornings she gets help from her sister-in-law and her son attending to her business while she works providing laundry services at a well-known hotel in the city. She has been in this line of work for ten years and the profits that it has provided have helped her to get some material things that she always wanted. It has also allowed her to meet the basic needs of her household, collaborating with her husband. She likes her work because it allows her the time she needs to comfortably pursue other activities, economic and in the home. Also, the reception of the customers she has due to the high temperatures in the area where she lives gives her good sales daily. On this occasion, she is asking for S/. 3,800. So she is grateful for the opportunity and the confidence they have in her to receive this loan. She also promises to make her payments on time. With the amount she has applied for, she will buy more sodas and energy drinks to continue with her sales.
