A loan of $500 helped to buy clay, paint, brushes, ornament molds, etc. for her business.

Maria Nery's story

María, 46, lives with her husband in her house in a village of San Lorenzo, which is in the southern region of Honduras. She makes and sells clay ornaments. She has established clients who call her to place orders. She then makes and delivers the ornaments.

María has applied for a loan to buy more materials, such as clay, paint, brushes, ornament molds, etc. She has several orders to fulfill and she needs to have all of the necessary materials to make her artisan crafts. She is very happy to be working with Prisma, because the loans have allowed her to make progress.

María hopes that this investment will greatly help her to improve her quality of life and that of her family. Her dream is to open a pottery workshop.
