A loan of $250 helped to help her purchase more soap, sugar and tinned fish for resale.

Hagar's story

After graduating Junior High School, Hagar decided to set up her own provision business, selling soap, sugar and tinned fish in Asafa (near Cape Coast). With over a year's worth of experience, she is currently looking to expand her enterprise further. Unfortunately, she is limited due to a lack of funding.

As a result, this loan will be used to help her to purchase more soap, sugar and tinned fish for resale. She aims at using the profits from her business to help support her husband (who is a farmer) with the upkeep of their house, while also ensuring that their future children are able to experience a better life.
