Buaisha's story

Buaisha is 54 years old, married and together with her husband, she is raising 5 children. Buaisha has a high school education. The main source of income for the family comes from her livestock business, which she started 25 years ago when she bought cattle for 12,000 sonomi. Thanks to Buaisha's hard work, she currently has two horses on her farm. Her monthly income is 10,000 som.

In order to expand her business, Buaisha applied for a loan of 80,000 som from the microfinance bank of Bai Tushum and Partners. She will use the loan to purchase cows for resale at the market at a premium price. Buaisha is planning to reinvest the added profits into the expansion of her cattle business and to save some of it for her daughter's dowry.
