A loan of $2,050 helped to buy cows for resale.

Aziza's story

Aziza is 36 years old, married and, together with her husband, is raising four children. Aziza has a university education and she works in a local school as a teacher. As the main source of income for her family, Aziza practices livestock breeding and crop farming. She started this business 10 years ago, with an initial purchase of cattle in the amount of 30,000 som (KGS). Thanks to Aziza's hard work, she currently has on her farm: 4 dairy cows and 2 horses, as well as a 1.16 hectare plot of land, on which she annually grows corn, clover and potatoes. Her monthly earnings are 13,000 som (KGS). In order to further develop her farm, Aziza turned to Microcredit Bank "Bai Tushum and Partners." She is requesting a loan in the amount of 100,000 som (KGS) to buy cows to fatten them up for resale on the market for a good price. Aziza plans to invest the earnings from the loan in the further acquisition of livestock. She also plans to save money for the construction of a new barn with an awning for housing her cattle.
