Rashid lives in Punjab, Pakistan. He is an active borrower of Kiva field partner BRAC Pakistan. For the past many years, he has been running a cloth shop. He sells a variety of unstiched cloth in various colors in his shop. This shop is the only source of income for his family. He belongs to a poor family, and his monthly income is insufficient to meet the family needs. He is the only earning person in the family who has to pay for all the bills. All of his income goes for paying bills; due to this, he can't save any amount of income for urgent and future needs.

Currently, he is going through some serious issue. He wants to replace the current stock with the new variety, with the change in trends. However, due to financial constraints, he finds it difficult. As he doesn't have new variety to offer, this results in the decrease of the number of customers as well.

Rashid has requested a loan from Kiva's partner BRAC Pakistan to purchase a variety of new cloths to purchase from different areas and sell in the market at a profitable price.

He is thankful to Kiva and BRAC Pakistan for their support.
