Since 2000, Shakeel has been in the embroidery business which is the only source of income for his family. He purchases a variety of embroidery products from the factories and sells them in the shop at a profit.
Currently, he needs to purchase more material to continue his business, but due to financial constrains he finds it difficult. For that reason, he has requested a loan from Kiva's partner BRAC Pakistan. He will be purchasing variety of laces, colorful threads, ribbons, etc. to sell.
He belongs to a poor family and his net income is insufficient to meet his family expenses. This will not only help him to grow his business but will increase his net income and savings as well. He desires to provide quality education to his children. He is very much thankful to Kiva and BRAC Pakistan.
