Rowena

Pasay City, Philippines / Water Distribution

A loan of $800 helped to buy more gallons of water for her business.

Rowena's story

This is Rowena, whose previous loan was a big help in that she was able to buy more gallons of water for her water distribution enterprise. Her profits arsing from the loan also helped both in the education of her children and their everyday household expenditures. Rowena also has a direct selling business as she and her husband work hard to provide for their everyday needs.

Rowena is requesting a new loan for 35,000 PHP to buy additional stocks of mineral water needed in her business. The more mineral water displayed in the store, the better. More items to sell will result in better profit. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Rowena dreams of even greater business success and hopes to have their own house and vehicle someday. She meets up with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her work every week and to draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners who gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay microfinance loans.
