A loan of $725 helped to buy fabric, thread, needles, and other supplies.

Reyna's story

Reyna, 57, is married to Juan and has four children. She lives with them in her own home.

Reyna makes clothing. She has a small but well-outfitted workshop set up in her house, where she works by order or makes her own designs and creations that she can sell to clients. They always come to her looking for a new model and design to buy. She has been in this business from a young age, since she was always curious and her mother taught her everything she knew. From there, she decided to work in this business, and so far she has worked alone. She considers her business to be profitable because of the good earnings it brings her.

This is her fourth loan with Kiva. She is counting on this contribution to continue with her goals, and she is also committed to paying her installments on time. With the requested amount of 2,000 Peruvian soles, she will buy materials to continue with her work, such as fabric, thread, elastic, and other materials.
