A loan of $1,775 helped to start growing organic vegetables for both family use and to sell to local customers.

Gansuh's story

Gansuh is 34 years old and lives with his wife and two sons. They live in a Ger, a traditional nomadic tent, in the Hovd province of Mongolia. His wife Amaraa works at a local market at their rental counter selling spare parts during day, and also works cleaning the market after it closes. Their sons attend local school and kindergarten. Gansuh has been running his spare parts business with his wife for years, and he also provides auto repair services and prepares hay to sell to local herders. They are hardworking people who say, "Our only goal is to raise our children to be good people with high educations." They are now planning to purchase a plot of land neighboring their land to start growing organic vegetables for both family use and to sell to local customers. They are requesting a loan of 3,000,000 MNT.
