A loan of $1,450 helped to buy seeds and agricultural supplies.

Belinda's story

Belinda, 31, is a very hardworking woman with many life dreams and ideals. She’s mother of two children who are minors living with her and her husband in a house of their own. She completed primary school thanks to her parents’ support despite the various difficulties and adversities they went through back then to be able to provide schooling for her.

She has worked for many years growing potatoes since in her youth her parents didn’t just teach her principles and values but also taught her the value of work. Since her parents worked in agriculture what they taught her was how to work the land. Her crops are located 20 meters from her house so she reaches them on foot. She and her husband work together and do the work by themselves.

Her goals and dreams are to forge a solid estate for her children’s well-being and her future children too so that they will have a place to work, to build their homes and to be able to generate income for their families.

This is why she’s asking for a loan today to buy supplies like leaf fertilizer, manure, fertilizer and certified potato seed, among others to maintain and plant new crops.
