A loan of $1,050 helped purchase wholesale clothing for resale.

Gisela's story

Gisela, just 21 years old but already very productive, is single and has no children. She started by working in a store selling goods, but wanting to earn more money, she decided to start her own business. She began to sell goods door-to-door to gain a customer base. Her customers principally live in a town that she goes to every fifteen days, selling and delivering her products. She then returns to her hometown and runs a store on the property of a family member. By alternating her business like this, she is able to keep on supporting her household economy.

Gisela is a dynamic, entrepreneurial young woman, and passionate about what she does. With the advantage of being able to manage her own time, she alternates between different activities while earning her income. The loan she is currently requesting would be used to buy goods at wholesale, particularly athletic wear and undergarments, among other things. This will allow her to have a greater variety of products on hand to meet her customers' needs and increase her sales and income. Gisela dreams of continuing with her independent business, of strengthening it and making it profitable so that it guarantees her positive economic stability, improved well being, and quality of life.
