Arshad's story

Arshad is a 51-year-old married woman and a mother of five. She has been stitching clothes for many years to support her husband financially. She stitches for the people of her community and uses the income to support her entire family. Her daughter also assists her in completing the orders for her customers on time. However, due to lack of funds, she is unable to meet the daily demands of her customers. For this reason, she requested a loan of PKR 25,000 from Kashf Foundation.

She intends to use this loan amount to buy more spools of threads in different colors, along with packs of laces, zippers and buttons to create a means of increasing revenues so she may able to generate healthier source of income. She is in her third loan cycle with good repayment history.
