Ana Flora's story

Ana Flora, 58, is mother of five children three of whom are independent now. She started her business more than ten years ago and has managed with it to school her children, make home improvements and to stay in business growing as an independent, empowered woman who makes her own decisions and responsibly assumes their implications. She’s a woman with vision who modifies her products according to market need and demand. She’s supportive of other women and motivates them to be creative, to set goals and advises them so that they can improve their quality of life and improve their businesses.

She has maintained a very good credit history with the Fundación and she’s also interested in becoming proficient in business affairs and management and in human development.

She helps care for her oldest daughter’s children and also helps her to develop her skills in producing the items she sells in her business or in the bazaar. The loan will help her improve production by having new technology or machinery that will improve her product design.
