Fernando dreams of working in the hospitality industry, but without a degree, he knows it may never be possible. Fernando is currently attending the Universidad Los Andes, working towards his degree. He plans on graduating in February 2014, but without a loan from Vittana, he thinks that he may need to take time off to work and save until he can return to school.
Fernando plans on spending the loan towards purchasing his textbooks. With them, Fernando hopes to be able to better understand his subjects. Fernando currently works 30 hours a week, and one of his biggest challenges has been making time to work and go to school. With a career in business, he expects to earn $11 a day.
As the youngest of two, with one older sibling attending college already, Fernando is unsure how he will be able to finance his education on his own without the assistance of a Vittana loan.
