Becoming a dentist has always been Katherin's dream. She is currently attending the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés, working towards her degree in dentistry. She plans on graduating in December 2015, but without a loan from Vittana, she thinks that she may need to take time off to work and save until she can return to school.
Katherin plans on spending the loan towards purchasing her textbooks. As an added expense, textbooks are often not bought to save money. With them, Katherin hopes to be able to better understand her subjects.
Katherin currently works 40 hours a week as a cashier in a store and earns $12 a day. With a degree in dentistry, she expects to earn $73 a day. As the youngest, with one older sibling attending college already, Katherin is unsure how she will be able to finance her education on her own without the assistance of a Vittana loan.
