Cecilia is single with one child. She lives with her relatives in the city of El Alto and has only been to primary school. She works making and selling presents for all types of social events (parties, birthdays, schools events, military service graduations, etc.) and all of the items she makes are hand made.
Cecilia needs this loan to increase her working capital so that she can make a greater variety of presents. Her dream is to distribute her products on a national level so that she can increase her income.
Cecilia es soltera, tiene un hijo, vive en casa de familiares ubicada en la ciudad de El Alto.
Ella estudio solo hasta el nivel primario. Se dedida a la elaboracion y comercializacion de recuerdos (colitas) para todo acontecimiento social (fiestas, cumpleaños, eventos colegiales, graduaciones de servicio militar, etc) el trabajo que elabora es todo manual (artesanal)
El crédito lo requiere para la compra de Aumento de Capital y asi poder fabricar mayor variedad de recuerdos.
El sueño de cecilia es que sus productos (recuerdos)se distribuyan a nivel nacional y asi podra aumentar sus ingresos .
IMPRO is a small non-profit organization that has been offering micro credit to the working poor in the Bolivian cities of La Paz and El Alto since 1995. IMPRO’s goal is to fight poverty by offering loans to small business owners who cannot access credit through the regular banking system due to a lack of guarantees or collateral.
To ensure that everyone has access to credit, IMPRO maintains a low interest rate by minimizing operational costs. IMPRO’s partnership with Kiva, which began in 2007, has allowed IMPRO to expand its services while maintaining these low interest rates.
