A loan helped to buy five steers, pay for harvesting her wheat, and buy wheat seeds.

Anahit's story

Anahit is a hard-working agronomist from the village of Lukashin in the Armavir region. Her family consists of her husband and two sons (the youngest of them is a school-age boy). Anahit’s older son works in the private sector; however, the salary he gets there is not enough to meet the family’s daily needs.

The family's most important source of income is its agricultural business. Anahit is particularly engaged in breeding sheep, wheat cultivation, alfalfa cultivation, and cultivation of cabbage and watermelons. Her family members support her a lot in selling the agro products at the local market.

As the family’s daily expenses grow with time, they now need to enlarge their agribusiness a little bit. A loan of US$ 3,000 will be a huge support to them. It will enable them to purchase five steers and to pay for the harvesting of the wheat, as well as to purchase wheat seeds.

They will be grateful to all the lenders for helping them to gather the needed amount of loan for maintaining and enlarging their agribusiness.
