A loan of $2,000 helped a member to restock the out of stock items in the fruits and vegetables business.

Magole 'b' Group's story

LUCAS is in his late 30s and is married with four children, who are still going to school. He has been running a fruits and vegetables business for five years now. He works from 07am to 08pm daily and is able to make a fair monthly profit. This will be LUCAS's 2nd loan request from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used the previous loan to buy the missing fruits and vegetables and has paid back the entire previous loan successfully. He managed to use his business profit to pay school fees and household expenses. LUCAS will use this loan to restock the out of stock fruits and vegetables. Lucas is doing fine with his genge (grocery hut). He dreams that one day he will be able to own a wholesale business. LUCAS will share this loan with his loan group "MAGOLE 'B'" which is comprised of 11 members. The members of this group will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
