A loan of $1,025 helped to buy flour wholesale.

Ainagul's story

Ainagul is 46 years old. She is rasing two children together with her husband. The spouses started their own business in selling flour in 2003, using a starting capital of 10,000 som (KGS). Having developed her business and obtained regular customers, Ainagul now has an average monthly income of 15,000 som (KGS). Thanks to their hard work in this business, the spouses were able to buy livestock. In order to further grow and expand her business, Ainagul requested a loan in the amount of 50,000 som (KGS) from the microfinance bank "Bai-Tushum and Partners" to buy flour wholesale for subsequent retail sale to residents. Ainagul plans to invest the earnings from the loan into increasing her product turnover and saving money for educating her children in a university.
