Salvador's story

Salvador, 77, lives in the beautiful city of Patria with his spouse; he has 8 children. He’s an enterprising, hardworking person who gets ahead with much effort and dedication. His main economic activity is selling food for he has a small restaurant at home. He’s been in this business for several years now and does very well thanks to the effort he puts into it. He belongs to the “Señor Huanca de Patria” communal bank and on this occasion needs the loan to buy supplies like sacks of rice, sacks of sugar, noodles, meat and vegetables to increase working capital in this line of work. He’s grateful for and values the loan and commits to make his monthly payments very responsibly. (The town of Patria is noted as a commercial center for jungle products as well as for lodging services and restaurants. Patria is a gateway city to Manu National Park.)
