A loan of $250 helped to buy pigs and feed.

Gustavo's story

Young Gustavo, 25, lives with his mother in her house located in a village in San Lorenzo, Valle, in southern Honduras. He’s worked for the last 8 years selling live and butchered pigs. His customers know Gustavo and they call him to order the pigs they need. His sales are every day from Monday to Sunday.

Gustavo is asking for the loan to buy more pigs and feed to fatten them up. He hopes to earn profits enough to improve his and his family’s quality of life a bit and to be able to continue growing with his business. Gustavo’s dream is to be able to finish his house.

San Lorenzo, Honduras – August, 2013.
