María is fifty-four years old and lives in a house that she owns, together with her children. Her main activity is business, and she makes a living selling food products. Her house has also become her own center of work.

Five years ago, she divorced her husband and decided to begin a new life alongside her children. At first, she was very troubled by her situation. Her husband always took care of the expenses, but as a result of their separation, she had to search for a way to make her own income. She decided to set up a business. Thanks to the support of her parents, she was able to confront this problem and move forward in order to improve the quality of life for herself and her family.
