A loan of $725 helped to buy grocery products such as rice, milk, sugar, among other items.

Andres's story

Andres, is 46 years old. He is married and lives in his own home with his wife and their children of 13 and 5 years of age, respectively.

Andres works selling groceries from a store he has established in his home, where he can attend to his customers which are mostly his own neighbors. He has been doing this work for 5 years and so far has been working alone. He likes his work as it permits him to be in the comfort of his home and at at same time he can generate financial income for his family. On the other hand, what he does not like is when some of his customers are late paying for the credit he granted, but that does not discourage him and he will continue working towards the same goals, now having plans to continue on with his business and making it grow.

This is his second loan with Kiva, so he is hoping for your assistance so that he can firm up his plans, and he agrees to make his payments punctually. With the 2,000 soles he will buy groceries such as rice, milk, sugar, and other items.
