A loan of $1,275 helped to buy tables, chairs and kitchen utensils for her stall.

Casilda's story

Casilda, 52, is separated from the father of her children whom are already independent; therefore she lives alone in her own house.

Casilda is in the fast food business such as fried chicken, French fries as well as menus and breakfasts because she gives meals to the workers at a workshop near her home. In addition, her stall is in front of her house where she has been serving her customers for 5 years with the help of her sister for the preparation and serving the public. She likes her work since it allows her to have an income to pay her expenses.

This is her second loan with Kiva therefore she hopes for a small loan to be able to fulfill her goals. With the requested amount of 3,500 Peruvian Soles she will buy tables and chairs, in addition to kitchen utensils such as pots, spoons and plates to increase her business.
