Keila Vanesa's story

Keila Vanesa is a young woman of 29 years. She is a single mother to a five year old girl who is attending preschool. Keila Vanesa is a woman with a complete secondary education. She graduated as an elementary teacher and teaches classes in a school in the community where she lives. When she isn’t being a teacher in the school, she is a farmer, something she learned at a very young age from her parents. Her parents were farmers all their lives. The farm she works was passed on to her from her parents so that she could earn more profits and to give her a better lifestyle and a good education. This year is her first harvest; she has worked for over two years preparing the soil and giving the field the best care possible. Once it was sown, she anxiously waited to see the fruits of her labors.

Because of this, today she is asking for financing with which she hopes to give the final touch to her crops so that they will be profitable. She will buy 12 quintals of fertilizers, 10 quintals of coffee formula and 12 quintals of urea to give maintenance and help to her coffee crop because she hopes that her harvest will improve and have excellent results.

Her goals for the future are to increase her lands, to sow a variety of grains to help grow her business, to improve her profits for her daughter, and most of all to earn a good income in order to give her a good education and to send her to the university.
