A loan of $825 helped to buy palm oil, groundnuts and vegetables.

Winifred's story

She is married with three children and they all live in a three bedroom apartment in the Bamenda Mezam Division of the North West Region of Cameroon. She has faced so many challenges in life, among which are the deaths of her family members such her father, brother and other loved ones. Inadequate capital to effectively manage her business is the main problem in her family.

She has taken and successfully repaid a loan six times and says with the new loan requested, she will expand her business by buying more palm oil, good vegetables and groundnuts. She has a positive view of her business succeeding because she has been doing the business for a long time and has experience in the business. She has regular customers who buy her products. With this business activity, the community will benefit from the palm oil and good vegetables, and she will sell to them at low prices.

With the profit from this loan, she plans to educate her children and cater to the well-being of her family. She prefers GHAPE loans because of low interest rates and convenient repayment intervals.
