A loan of $625 helped to pay for piglets and chicks with their feed.

Loveline's story

Loveline is married with four children. Her family lives in a three-bedroom apartment in Bamenda, in the Northwest region of Cameroon. She has faced so many challenges in life, among which are the death of family members like her father, an early marriage, and inadequate capital to manage her business. She has taken and successfully repaid three loans and says with this new loan she has requested she will expand her pig farm by buying more piglets and open a poultry farm where she will rear chicks. She has a positive view of her business succeeding because she has been doing it for a long time, she has experience in business, she has a good business site, there is high demand for poultry and she has enough time to manage her business. With this business activity, the community will buy her products at cheaper prices, and she will also sell manure to her customers. With the profit from this loan, she will pay her children's school fees, cater for the feeding of her family, provide medication to her family and pay her bills. She prefers GHAPE loans because of the low interest rates and convenient repayment intervals.
