Temboni Group's story

Oliver, who is is in her late 30s, is widowed with three daughters. Oliver's children are enrolled in school. For two years now, she has been managing her life by running two businesses. Her retail shop sells dry food items like flour, rice, airtime, cooking oil, etc. She also manages a poultry business. She works from 7 am to 8 pm daily and is able to make a good returns every month.

This will be her second loan request from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used her previous loans to maintain and replace her retail shop inventory and has paid back her entire previous loan successfully . She will use this loan to buy more chicks and increase stock items in the shop. With the profit earned, she paid school fees and managed to cover household expenses. Oliver's dreams to own a bid business in future.

She will share this loan with her loan group "TEMBONI," which totals five members. The members of the group will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
