A loan of $250 helped to buy uniforms for independence day celebrations.

Zeneyda's story

Young Zeneyda has a business selling dairy products in the city of León. She has been doing this work in order to support her household for eleven years. Zeneyda leaves her house, in a town in the department of León, at 5am. She then opens her business at 6am to sell to all her customers. She finishes work at noon and works the same hours from Monday to Friday. In the afternoon Zeneyda prepares her product for the following day. She started her business as a street vendor with a small amount of capital - a combination of her savings and some money from her husband. Zeneyda is a mother to three children, two of whom are still under her charge.

Zeneyda is applying for a loan from Ceprodel. She will use this to cover school costs (to buy uniforms for for independence day celebrations).

Zeneyda is very grateful to Ceprodel for all the support and trust that she has been given. These have allowed her to increase her working capital and to make improvements to her home.
