A loan of $1,000 helped to purchase agricultural supplies for her coffee crop.

Nolvia Leccy's story

Nolvia, 30, is a mother of one son, a housewife, a farmer and also specializes in sales in a clothing store in the area where she lives. She is a single mother and that is why she fights daily to provide for her son. He has 10 years of education, attending school until secondary level. He couldn't continue for lack of economic support.

She is an entrepreneur in which she also sews in seasons. Her clients are her neighbours, relatives, friends among others who know her for her excellent work. Her crop is located 1 kilometre from her house where, on occasion, she walks or takes a mototaxi.

She dreams of building her own house for her son and family, providing dignity and security for her son whom she has a lot of faith and confidence that one day when he is older he will be an accomplished and qualified man. For that and many more reasons she fights daily.

Now she is requesting a loan from the cooperative COMIXMUL to purchase agricultural supplies such as manure, plant and coffee fertilizers among others to make her crops more attractive and reliable for the final intermediary-buyer.
