Asma's story

Asma baji is the wife of M., and she lives in the city of Riwind, Pakistan. She owns a three-room, brick house, which she and her family have lived in for the last 26 years. Asma baji sells milk and takes care of her animals. In fact, Asma baji has been in the dairy business for the last 26 years. In addition, she is the mother of seven children: six daughters and one son. Her three oldest daughters are enrolled in a local school in neighborhood. Her husband, meanwhile, is a driver (he drives a rented vehicle).

Notably, Asma baji successfully repaid her three previous loans from Asasah (a microfinance institute in Pakistan). Currently, she is seeking another loan in order to buy a buffalo to expand her milk business.
