Victoria is 40 years old and lives in New Kru Town, one of the early communities which is well-known in Liberia. She is married and has four children, ages between 10 and 20, whom are presently in school and live at home. She was unable to attend school.
For the past five years, she has been selling dried fish. She started this business by selling on a market table for her mother, and she learned this way of selling from her friends. She is very happy with her business because she makes a lot of profits, and it keeps her busy.
She is requesting a loan to buy more dried fish to increase her business. Her plans are to expand her business and educate her children.
