Recho's story

Recho is a 58-year-old farmer, and widowed. She is also a mother of four children.

Recho has been managing the family tea plantation for the last six years, making a monthly income of KES 35,000. She has been advanced her 2nd loan of KES 20,000 after successfully paying off the first.

She will use the funds to pay the workers in the farm as well as buy fertilizers for the plantation. The proceeds will be used to cater to the family's basic needs.

She dreams of becoming an accomplished business lady.
