Nyevu is 50 years old, married and a mother of three children. For the last four years, she has earned a living by selling fruits and vegetables from her food kiosk in Malindi. She earns a monthly income of about KES 6,350 from the business. Nyevu was introduced to KADET LTD by a credit officer and is applying for her second loan of KES 30,000, to buy additional stock for her kiosk such as tomatoes, pineapples, oranges and onions to sell to customers. She will use the profits made possible by this loan to pay school fees for her children as well as continue expanding the business. Her goal for the future is to continue growing the business so that she may assist in uplifting her family's financial stability.
