A loan of $1,250 helped to buy farm supplies for her coffee crop.

Onoria Suyapa's story

Onoria is a hard-working entrepreneur who gets up early and struggles daily to do her chores. Together with her husband, and thanks to her dedication, faith, and especially her good management, she has been able to reach many goals. On the farmland she owns, she grows corn, beans and coffee. She has five children who all live at home and help their parents with the farm chores. When she was young, Onoria was unable to get an education and now she works hard so her children can study and be good citizens. Her goal is to improve and technify her land by implementing irrigation systems for her corn and bean crops. She also wants to grow better varieties of coffee como "caturra" and "catuay" which are more attractive and competitive on the market. She is requesting a loan through COMIXMUL to buy 22 units of Nutricafe, 12 units of fertilizer 18-46-0, and two cans of leaf fertilizer to treat her crops and build a solid patrimony for her children for the future.
