A loan of $300 helped to pay for studies in graphic design and advertising.

Lady Johana's story

Lady, as a student of graphic design, is interested in taking out a Kiva loan in order to improve her finances and to finish her technical studies. She wants to work in the creative department of her own business or for a design company and improve financial productivity and work in buying and selling by creating images for companies, creating and registering brands, making illustrations, and being involved in billboard, magazine, radio and other types of advertising. Lady has short, medium and long-term goals. She has a clear objective and is always moving forwards, regardless of the obstacles she faces. She does not give up and always beats her own records in order to achieve her aims. Lady's short-term goals are to finish her studies in graphic design and then help businesses with her knowledge and innovating ideas. She will help them design products and services while following advertising legal norms. In the medium-term, she would like to continue with her studies in technology and become a professional in graphic design, industrial art, languages, media and more. In the long term Lady wants to create her own graphic design and illustrations business, and employ the skills and knowledge that she is currently learning.
