That means we rely on donations from people like you to make this work possible. For a limited time, if you donate $35 or more, a $25 bonus will be added to your account (you’ll get an email once it’s there).

Leonard's story

Leonard is a hardworking young man, age 28, married to Mercy, and the father of three children, ages 6, 4 and 2 years old. He has been operating a motorcycle transport business for the last eight years on the outskirts of Bomet town. He learnt about KADET from some of his regular customer who are already registered and are already being funded by KADET Ltd. He earns approximately 45,000 Kenyan shillings (KES) per month.

Leonard has been advanced with a first asset loan of 97,400 KES, which he will use to facilitate the purchase of another motorcycle. The transport business is a booming business and, with an additional motorcycle, he will earn more income. He plans to use the proceeds to repay his loan as well as boost his savings account. His dream is to bring up a wealthy family.
