A loan of $450 helped to pay for additional biscuits, doormats and peanuts to sell.

Leotina's story

Leotina is very thankful for the financial assistance previously given to her. She used her loan in buying biscuits. She also used the loan for the education of her children. As of now, she is also selling doormats and peanuts. She is taking all the opportunities that come her way, just to earn money.

She would like to apply for another loan, this time for 20,000 PHP. She will use part of this loan to buy more biscuits, to expand her inventory. The more items she has on hand to sell, the better. More items to sell will result in a better profit. She will use another part of the money to buy door mats and peanuts. Her profits from business will definitely help her to sustain her daily needs. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Leotina is hoping to have a store located inside the mall, and her dream is to give her children a good life and education. She meets with her co-fellowship members* every week, to share stories of her work and to draw strength and inspiration from studying the Word of God.

* All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay Micro Finance loans.
