A loan of $1,125 helped to pay for more fruit and vegetables needed in her business.

Yolanda's story

Yolanda is very thankful for the financial help extended to her. She is using her loans as additional capital for her business. She is selling different kinds of fruits and vegetables. Her income from business is helping send her children to school and is assisting their everyday household expenditures.

She would like to apply for another 50,000 PHP (Philippines pesos) loan for her to purchase more fruits and vegetables needed in her business. Her profits from business will definitely help her to sustain her daily needs and the educational expenses of her children. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Yolanda dreams to put up another branch and hopes that her family will always be in good health. Every week, she meets up with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her life and business and draw strength and inspiration from her studies of the Word of God.

* All CCT community partners and clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. Fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay microfinance loans.
