Susan's story

Susan, 22, is a young warrior. She lives with her brother in her parents’ house. Susan’s studying Civil Engineering at a renowned university where she pays monthly tuition. Because of this she decided to go into business selling household goods but now her main source of income is selling food and all types of beverages in partnership with her mother who gave her space at home to set up a stand facing their street on Sundays. She’s earning high profits because it’s very popular.

She wants to improve the profits she earns because she wants to complete her studies and start new projects. She knows that in order to do so she needs a good amount of capital that she’s sure she will be able to save up.

This is her 6th Kiva loan and she feels grateful for the financial support she gets to continue forward; she also commits to make her payments punctually.

Susan will use the 2,000 soles to buy ingredients like rice, meat, vegetables and several cases of beverages in assorted brands.
